The Attredgeville, Tshwane Ward 107 Branch of CHANGE was launched on Saturday 6 March. The launch was attended by the party leader and founder, Lesiba Molokomme, the party’s senior Interim Operations Committee member Bongani Mngomezulu and the Communications Manager Chris Mokgetle.

Addressing the Changers at the launch CHANGE leader Lesiba Molokomme said the Changers’ primary responsibility is to help our communities to approach the coming local government elections with a new mindset of ‘Voting Right This Time’ and to make everyone a Changer.

“Go tell them the time for a political overhaul is now. Tell them never to lose hope. As long they are still alive there is hope for CHANGE. God is the hope of South Africa” he said.

“Go tell the mothers who are struggling with their drug-addicted children that hope is on the way. Tell our sisters who depend on social grants that CHANGE knows they too have dreams of driving their own cars and of having own houses. Tell them we know they want to be independent”

“Go tell our brothers that in as much as we appreciate the R350 they have been receiving we know they want jobs and not the R350”

The leader went on to encourage Changers that they should “go teach those depending on social grants that these grants are from their government and not from the ruling party. They need to know this for them to escape from the 27 years of political deception”.

Before he came to the launch Lesiba Molokomme first went for an interview on a local radio station Pheli FM 90.5 where he told the listeners that “South Africa is worth fighting for. South Africans deserve better and they can’t be made slaves in their own land”

He further said “CHANGE is attainable if we bring together our love, our resources, skills and our passion for our country and using our natural race differences as our strength and not for divisions”

CHANGE’s Ward 107 Operations Committee is led by Zweli Makubane and five other Changers, Sbusiso, Nomusa, Anele, Granny and Maapeya. They are tasked to lead the ward to a victory come LGE2021.
